As a lover of movement, Irene is passionate about her practice. She practices a variety of yoga from Ashtanga and Bikram to free form Vinyasa, as she enjoys both a traditional practice as well as a spontaneous one. Irene travels the world to teach and study with world renowned yoga teachers, hand balancers, circus performers, and contortionists to expand her own knowledge and explore the capabilities of her body.
After experiencing a life changing wrist injury last year Irene has redefined her yoga practice in many ways, placing more emphasis on a strong foundation and finding gratitude for her body with or without advanced asana. She still enjoys intense practice but has learned to value meditation and pranayama even more, and focuses on sharing this part of her journey with her students.
